The Wyoming Cloud Radar (WCR) is an airborne polarimetric Doppler radar operating at W-band (94.921 GHz). Up to 4 antennas are employable, and can be configured to observe targets above, below, and laterally from the aircraft. The WCR provides high-resolution measurements of reflectivity and radial velocity, along with the capability of measuring differential reflectivity and linear depolarization ratio. It is deployable aboard both the University of Wyoming King Air and the NSF/NCAR C-130 research aircraft.
